Workplace First Aider

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid – the standard first aid course for most jobs. Covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation, bleeding, burns, fractures, medical conditions and use of an AED. This is the minimum WorkSafe requirement to comply with the code of practice for first aid in a workplace, school, community group or volunteer organisation.

Annual CPR Refresher

HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation – short, practical CPR training with adult/child/infant manikins and AED drills.

Childcare First Aid Courses

Assessment, physical requirements and certification

  • Assessment methods: simulated incidents (adult/child/infant CPR, AED use, bleeding control, asthma and anaphylaxis response) and a short theory component.
  • Physical requirement: you’ll be asked to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on a manikin placed on the floor.
  • Certification: on successful completion we issue a Statement of Attainment for the unit(s) achieved (e.g., HLTAID011 Provide First Aid, HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation).
  • Certificate timing: certificates are available for download same day or next business day so employers can move quickly.
  • Verification: employers can validate certificates via our booking system link.
