First Aid Courses Ulverstone FAQs

Can you provide first aid training for workplaces in Ulverstone and West Ulverstone?

Yes. Moreton Group delivers first aid and safety training across Tasmania and can provide group workplace training on-site. For Ulverstone and West Ulverstone businesses, this means your team can arrange training at the workplace rather than having everyone travel to a public training venue.

Do you offer on-site first aid training for businesses near Reibey Street or the Ulverstone CBD?

Yes. Moreton Group offers on-site group training and can come to workplaces for team training sessions. This can be a practical option for businesses in and around Reibey Street, the Ulverstone CBD and elsewhere in the local area, particularly when several staff need to complete or refresh their first aid training together.

Can Ulverstone sporting clubs arrange group first aid training for coaches and volunteers?

Yes. Moreton Group accepts group training bookings, making it possible for Ulverstone sporting clubs and community organisations to organise first aid or CPR training for coaches, volunteers and other team members. HLTAID011 Provide First Aid covers common emergencies including CPR, bleeding, burns, fractures and medical conditions, while HLTAID009 focuses specifically on CPR and AED use.

Is first aid training available for aged care, support workers and community organisations in Ulverstone?

Yes. Moreton Group provides workplace-focused first aid training and can arrange group sessions at the workplace. HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is the standard first aid course Moreton Group recommends for most workplace first aiders, while additional courses are available for more specialised environments, including advanced, remote and electrical-industry training.

Do you provide CPR refresher training for Ulverstone businesses and community groups?

Yes. Moreton Group offers HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation as nationally recognised training, as well as streamlined refresher courses for people who are already qualified. The course covers CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and responding when someone is unconscious and not breathing normally.

Can a first aid trainer come to our workplace instead of sending staff to Devonport or Burnie?

Yes. Moreton Group can deliver group workplace training on-site, so an Ulverstone business does not necessarily need to send its whole team to another training location. Public first aid sessions are regularly scheduled in Devonport, Launceston and Hobart, while workplace groups can request a quote for training delivered at their own site.

What first aid training should an Ulverstone workplace have under Tasmanian safety requirements?

The right training depends on the workplace, its risks and the roles of the people being trained. Moreton Group describes HLTAID011 Provide First Aid as its standard first aid course for most workplaces, covering CPR, AED use, bleeding, burns, fractures and a range of medical emergencies. Moreton Group can also help workplaces consider the appropriate number of first aiders, first aid kits and refresher arrangements for their circumstances.

Can you train small teams based around the Leven River and Ulverstone town centre?

Yes. Moreton Group's workplace training is available for teams of different sizes, with trainers able to deliver sessions at the workplace. This can suit smaller Ulverstone businesses and organisations around the town centre and Leven River area that want to organise training together rather than book staff individually into a public course.

Do you offer first aid training for local sports clubs using Ulverstone's recreation grounds and sporting facilities?

Yes. Sporting clubs can arrange group first aid and CPR training through Moreton Group. For coaches, volunteers and club members who may need to respond to an injury or medical emergency, courses such as HLTAID011 Provide First Aid cover practical skills including CPR, AED use, bleeding, fractures, sprains, asthma, anaphylaxis and other common emergencies.
