Moreton Group Medical Services
Funded through Primary Health Tasmania and the Federal Government we provide access to free (bulk billed) Doctors between 6pm and 10pm Monday to Friday.
We aim to increase patient access to Doctors and help to reduce unnecessary presentations at hospital.
Who We help
What we do
Moreton Group Medical Services operates a mobile clinic that helps remove barriers to accessing healthcare. We take Doctors to the patients providing bulk billed access. Our Doctors understand that access to healthcare can be blocked due to circumstances beyond the control of patient seeking support.
Our Staff
Moreton Group Medical Services utilises General Practitioners to provide patient care. We are also accredited through GP Training Tasmania to accept Medical Registrars undertaking an extended skills placement.
Doctors are supported by a program assistant who drives our mobile clinic to each location and supports the Doctor with administration.
Our Mobile Clinic
Our mobile clinic allows our Doctors to consult with patients in an environment that is very similar to a doctors room in a surgery.
