Bulk billing policy
We are a private clinic that provides services on a mixed billing basis. Patients will be charged fees at time of consultation. Some patients may be bulk billed for most consultations if they fit into one of these categories;
- Children under 16yrs of age
- Patients 65yrs and older who hold a pension card
- DVA patients will be billed through DVA
- An additional fee may be charged for accounts not settled on the day of consultation
Payment Terms
It is practice policy that all accounts are settled in full on the day of your consultation.
Payments may be made by cash, EFTPOS and credit card (Mastercard and Visa card cards accepted). Upon payment of your account, our staff will lodge your claim with Medicare. Provided you have your bank details registered with Medicare, your rebate will be forwarded directly into your nominated bank account within four days. This will overcome the need for you to visit a Medicare office.
Any accounts not paid on the day of your consultation will not generate automatic lodgement with Medicare and it your responsibility to organise claiming your rebate from medicare.
Cancellations
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know with at least 3 hours’ notice to ensure we can make the same appointment time available to other patients.
Patients who fail to attend an appointment may be charged a failure to attend fee of $30 + GST for a single appointment (15mins) or $50 + GST for a double appointment (30mins).
This fee cannot be claimed through Medicare.
